Making Your Hire Experience Hassle-Free
Hiring plant and machinery can become a headache if you have never done it before, this is why we have put together a simple guide for domestic customers on how to hire our machinery, many other companies systems will be similar to this process so you will not go far wrong.
1. Make contact with the equipment hire company
Request which peice of equipment you are interested in and for which length of time.
2. Prices explained
Not forgetting explanation of deposit (domestic customers only) and insurance. We are able to explain on the phone but the details are best viewed in our terms and conditions which can be viewed here.
3. Delivery organised
Time and date of drop off to be arranged with somebody who can meet our driver on site.
4. Hire agreement witnessed and signed
Hire agreement is a vital document stating all our terms and conditions.
5. Equipment Dropped off
Equipment is delivered on the time and date agreed in our initial conversation.
6. Equipment used
You use the equipment or tool as you wish to do the required job.
7. East Coast Plant Hire phoned up to off-hire equipment
It is important that you phone us to off-hire the equipment when you stop using it as this will be the time and date the invoice runs to, here we will tell you when we will pick the equipment up.
8. Equipment returned or picked up
Our driver will return to site for pick up of the equipment.
9. Final invoice created and paid (to include fuel and any damage (if applicable)).
Equipment is inspected upon return and prepared for the next hire, an invoice is issued to be paid and the deposit is returned.
